Mutani Person Principles

We use our Mutani Person Principles every day, whether brainstorming for new and innovative ideas, making day-to-day decisions, or interacting with our customers. It is simply the Mutani way of life.

Learn about our 8 Person Principles.

  • 01 - Own the talk; execute it.

A Mutani ‘person’ gets stuff done! They never wait for others to take the lead; instead, they see themselves as leaders who like to own and execute the talk.

  • 02 - Customer-mania.

A Mutani ‘person' is a customer maniac, obsessed with customer success. They approach every situation with the customer in mind. When building solutions and products or developing relationships with customers, they constantly ask, "how do I build long-term trust and meaningful relationship with the customer?" and "what would customer success look like in both the short and long term"?

  • 03 - Understand the 'WHY'

A Mutani 'person' knows that understanding the 'WHY' makes things look more clearer. They appreciate that there is a corresponding impact for every action or inaction. Only after they have understood the 'WHY' will they thoroughly assess the effects of their decisions.

  • 04 - Execution excellence is fundamental to our DNA.

A Mutani 'person' believes that execution excellence is at the heart of how we implement our business strategy, and ultimately, how we realise our purpose of enabling meaningful connections.

A Mutani 'person'  understands that execution excellence means superior services and products.  They understand that execution excellence breeds trust and credibility with our people, our customers, partners, and the society in which we operate.

  • 05 - Speed matters.

A Mutani 'person' understands that getting it right matters, but more so that speed matters. They know that if we are to provide our customers with the solutions of tomorrow today, then we must operate at speed and agility. So while they appreciate that moving at speed may sometimes mean we don't get everything right the first time, they always ask, "how do I get my solutions and products to the customer as soon as possible responsibly?".

  • 06 - Get it right the first time.

A Mutani person understands that the need for speed does not mean cutting corners but rather an opportunity to get it right the first time. They appreciate that getting it right the first time means being "mindful" of the impact of their work on colleagues and customer outcomes. They also know that getting it right the first time requires adopting best practice processes and execution excellence and collaborating with colleagues and partners.

  • 05 - Data speaks so listen and act.

A Mutani 'person' understands that data "speaks". They don't only "listen" to and follow the data, but they act on it. They deep dive into data, quickly and intuitively identify trends and anomalies and turn their findings into meaningful insight for decision making and execution.

  • 08 - Kindness and community awareness

A Mutani ‘person’ takes pride in the society and community they engage in and with. They share the view that Mutani's reason for being is to help create meaningful connections for people and society.

Above all, they are kind and sensitive to their own mental wellbeing, their colleagues and customers.
